FEBRUARY'S FULL OF STUFF!

The Sweetheart Dinner Dance -- Saturday, February 11 at 6:30PM, hosted by the United Methodist Men. Dinner, dessert and dancing in the Social Hall. All are welcome, child care will be provided. Advanced purchase tickets are only $10 per person ($15 at the door).

Top Iron Chef Cooking Contest -- February 12, after church. "Battle Comfort Foods!"

ASH WEDNESDAY -- February 22. From 6:00PM-8:00PM, Boyer Chapel will be open for meditation. come in for silent prayer at your own pace. Pastor Joey will be on hand to serve Communion and Lenten calendars will be available.

BUNCO NIGHT -- February 23! The classic dice game! 7:30PM in the Lounge. Come one, come all!

3rd Annual Multi-Cultural Pot Luck -- Friday, February 24 at 7:30PM. Bring a dish that best represents your heritage. Stay for the play "Freedom child," which highlights the Civil Rights Movement, recalling the life of Dr. Bernadette McAllister, a woman who at the age of 13 took part in the 1963 "Children Crusade" held in Birmingham, AL. Dr. McAllister will be present at this performance, so it is not to be missed.

Basketball Fellowship continues on Saturday mornings at 9:00AM, plus Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6:00PM on the church sports court.

February 4: Mission Team provides dinner at San Fernando Rescue Mission (13422 Saticoy Street, North Hollywood). Meet there at 6:15PM.  

February 8: UMW General Luncheon in the Lo-Fe-Lo room, at noon. $3.00 donation includes lunch and a program by Margaret Dixon, Mission Coordinator for Education and Interpretation.

February 9: Rebekah Circle meeting in the Lounge, 7:30PM. Martha Circle meeting. Come knit or crochette... or learn how.

February 12: Mission Sunday. Bring non-perishable food items for the North Hollywood Inter-Faith Food Pantry. Protein items requested.

February 13: Martha Cirle meeting.

February 14: All Church Movie Night! 6:45PM dinner followed by "Swing Time" at 7:15PM. Free for all to attend!

February 15: Ruth Circle meeting at 7:30PM.

February 20: Tabitha Fellowship meeting at 10:30AM.

February 26: Charge Conference in Boyer Chapel, 4:00-5:00PM. All are welcome to attend.

February 29: UMW Boutique Workshop at 9:30AM at Kathi Ellis' home.
